Mary Hohlman is a writer, personal trainer, and mother living in the Bay Area. Mary brings extensive experience both personally and professionally to her work. She is an accomplished marathoner and triathlete who has raced for over a decade. As a personal trainer, her total-body approach helps keeps her clients motivated and feeling great. Mary spent many years as a birthing doula until the birth of her daughter in 2010. Since then, Mary has turned her focus to postpartum help, and to those women who've experienced a difficult childbirth experience. Her writing consists of free prose poetry, haiku, senryu, and haiga. She also blogs about her experiences in the birthing world as well as being a mother.
